Okay, this is super weird, but I just found on my hard drive an epilogue to that Pam/Ryan comedy of remarriage fic I wrote forever ago, and it actually doesn't suck that bad. I think I was planning on writing more of it before I got distracted, though I don't know where it was going, haha. But what the hell, in case anyone wants to read it, here is what I have.

Title: Life under the Observer Effect, Epilogue
Fandom: The Office (US)

Summary: In science, the term "observer effect" refers to changes that the act of observing will make on the phenomenon being observed.

And with this chapter, the twist kicks in and the screwball really starts.

Ah, that's the old redhead. No bitterness, no recrimination, just a good swift left to the jaw. )

My, she was yar. )

I actually meant to write this one for last week's [livejournal.com profile] nothing_hip but then it went on, and on, and on, and turned into something I wasn't expecting. I don't even know, man.

Title: How Pam Beesly Got Kissed, Got Wild, and Got a Life
Fandom: The Office
Pairing: Pam/OC, Jim/Pam
Rating: PG
Length: 7400 words
Summary: It was one Friday night too many sitting at home by herself, watching 13 Going On 30 on TBS and eating Cheez-Its straight out of the box for dinner that did it.
AN: For [livejournal.com profile] nothing_hip (song: "Unwritten")

Maybe sometimes it does take a couple of tries to get things right. Maybe this time they're the kind of people who can. )
annakovsky: (office: pam's heart is breaking)
I'm on vacation and poaching a wireless signal to get this thing posted -- sorry about the delay on this installment!

This is part 7 of the [livejournal.com profile] warning_labels series, set during The Secret and The Carpet. Previous parts are here; or you can start at the beginning and click through to the latest.

Warning: Dangerous Undertow and Strong Currents
The Office (US), Jim/Pam (Pam/Roy). NC-17. 4100 words. [livejournal.com profile] kyrafic, [livejournal.com profile] honey_wheeler and [livejournal.com profile] obsession_inc make it happen.

If Jim really did have a crush on her, he could've said something. He could've said something a thousand times. Imagining that he wouldn't is just wishful thinking. )

Proceed to (8) Warning: May Cause Dizziness by [livejournal.com profile] honey_wheeler
annakovsky: (office: you were so dorky!)
This is the fourth installment of an a/u season two series, [livejournal.com profile] warning_labels, the premise being that they were having secret sex all along. Part one (Halloween) and part two (The Fight) were written by [livejournal.com profile] honey_wheeler and part three (The Client) by [livejournal.com profile] kyrafic.

Fandom: The Office (US)
Pairing: Jim/Pam
Rating: NC-17
Length: 4,000 words
Summary: Set during Email Surveillance. Jim's trying to get it out of his system.
Notes: [livejournal.com profile] kyrafic, [livejournal.com profile] honey_wheeler and [livejournal.com profile] obsession_inc brainstorm, plot and beta.

Jim hasn't told anyone about what's been happening with Pam. )

To next chapter: (5) Christmas Party, Caution: Reduce Speed During Unsafe Driving Conditions
annakovsky: (office: you were so dorky!)
This summer has been so schmoopy it's seriously embarrassing. Have some more canon het OTP wretch fic in which people have sex they're actually happy about, everyone. There seems to be plenty more where that came from. (I don't even know who I am anymore.)

Title: Crossing the Line: Rules for the Modern Workplace
Fandom: The Office (US)
Pairing: Jim/Pam
Rating: NC-17
Length: 4400 words
Summary: Pam can't find her keys. Post-"Casino Night".
AN: Part of this started out as intended for the "Five Games of Truth or Dare Jim and Pam Never Played" fic that me and Kyra wrote - I had to toss it because it wasn't really working. And then it ended up getting recycled here. But it's not that I'm so obsessed with Truth or Dare as a plot device. Really. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] kyrafic for a codependent fanfiction relationship - er, I mean, for "betaing".

He hangs his coat up and says, 'Morning, Beesly,' like he didn't wake up with her drooling on him. )

You know how 3 am is the time bad ideas are born? Well, guess when we thought up this fic? This trend is becoming problematic. (Fake married fic, you say? Truth or Dare fic, you say? What a fine idea!)

Title: Five Games of Truth or Dare Jim and Pam Never Played
Authors: [livejournal.com profile] kyrafic and [livejournal.com profile] annakovsky
Fandom: The Office (US)
Pairing: Jim/Pam
Rating: PG
Length: 6300 words
Summary: "Truth or Dare?" Dwight interjects. "That is so lame. That is a game for little girls."
AN: Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] swmbo for the beta.

How Long Have We Been at War? The War of Work. )

Title: In Case of Flash Flood
Fandom: The Office (US)
Pairing: Pam/Toby
Rating: PG
Length: 750 words
Summary: Pam updates the emergency contacts.
AN: Today is a good day for weird pairings.

Title: O*F*F*I*C*E
Fandom: The Office (US)
Pairings: All canon pairings.
Rating: PG
Length: 4700 words
Summary: "I hope the war goes on forever and Ryan gets drafted."
AN: You know how apparently people say that Dwight/Angela is the new Frank Burns/Hot Lips Houlihan? Some of us are overly literally minded and, well, this is an Office M*A*S*H AU. Strangely, writing a show from the 2000s into a show from the 1970s about the 1950s means that accuracy to the Korean War is not really a priority, particularly when it comes to gender roles. If it starts to bother you, take a step back and remember that you're reading a fanfiction Office M*A*S*H AU, and you'll feel better. Uh, or worse. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] swmbo and [livejournal.com profile] kyrafic for beta reading.

Korea's always either too hot or too cold, though maybe that's just the tents and the boredom and nothing to think about but the weather and the war. )

Title: Pack Up Your Bags, It's Never Too Late! or, And That's How the Kids Got Married!
Authors: [livejournal.com profile] kyrafic and [livejournal.com profile] annakovsky
Fandom: The Office
Pairing: Jim/Pam
Rating: PG-13
Length: 11,100 words
Summary: Jim's almost gotten used to narrating his life into a camera lens for the consumption of strangers. Like having a blog, but more embarrassing.
AN: This is the most self-indulgent thing I have ever written or co-written, by an extremely wide margin. I don't know - it was late. It was very late. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] swmbo for betaing and losing as much perspective as we did.

Jim's almost gotten used to narrating his life into a camera lens for the consumption of strangers. Like having a blog, but more embarrassing. )
