So, The National. I'm pretty sure I can blame you (thank you, whatever) for my current obsession. They are so so completely marvelous and perfectly odd and were it not for my festschrift prompt, I might never have sought out nearly all of their work and listened to them non-stop for the past two weeks or so. So. Good.

Also, Damien Lewis! Life! Band of Brothers! This post you've got here is full of so many things I love, I just don't know what to do with myself! And whoever they've got picking out the music for that show does a fantabulous job.
