I still love this too much for words. You manage to tease out the heart of both shows -- hating your job, stuck in the circumstances of your life -- and make it so funny and so sad and so lovely all at once. Standouts include "You're always so good at regulations" and "0600, which is not an hour Jim and Pam really enjoy" and "it turns out that Michael was interpreting a conversation they'd had extremely optimistically" and "They're in surgery for eight hours, and by the time Jim comes out, Katy's applied for a transfer." and "Pam's on a lawn chair in the shade outside the Swamp, in shorts and a halter top, a thin sheen of sweat sticking her dog tags to her collarbone." (!!!!) Yes yes yes.
